I know you know, but I just want to confirm what an amazing teacher your sister Kelly is... I love it when she presents the new instruments and all of the kids/parents/nannies are doing their own thing, or talking or jumping, and she uses rhythm, dramatic expressions, her whole body and then -poof- suddenly in one moment everyone is beating together and the little babies are listening or kicking their legs to the music. It seems like magic, but I can see it's Kelly's gift. She's also unflappable, when a child or parent bursts into the space and interrupts the class. If a child cries, she keeps the music going for everyone, but yet still uses her expression to convey concern or comes over to comfort them. Every class she makes a point of connecting with each child in the room and making them feel like he or she is the only child in the room. And, of course her voice and guitar music are achingly beautiful. Honestly, her baa baa black sheep lullaby is the most beautiful I've heard. My daughter Daniela adores her and tries to imitate all of her dance moves. So, thanks for a great first semester and we look forward to the next one! I also really appreciated as a mother of a newborn, trying to figure out how to meet both girls' needs, having a space where everyone was welcome, learned and had fun. Thank you - Alissa Coggins (mom of Daneila, 2 years old and Nina Isabella, 3 months)
