BABIES CLASSES (newborns-8 months)
Specifically designed for babies, newborn-8 months, the Babies Class is offered as a one or two semester
introduction to Music Together®. The music activities and materials are
specially designed for parents who want to learn as much as possible
about music development in babies. Meet other parents of newborns and
learn some fascinating music activities you can recreate at home with
your baby.
THURSDAYS at 11:30am Deborah Mason School of Dance, CAMBRIDGE (Sharon Simon)
OLDER KIDS CLASSES (3-5 years)
This class is geared for 3-5 year old children who have had a lot of
Music Together and are “ready for something a little different.”
Content includes playing rhythm-patterns, improvisation, introduction
to musical concepts, children conducting, and dramatic play. An ideal preparation for children who plan on studying a musical instrument with formal lessons in the future. Younger
siblings also allowed in class.

NEW TEACHERS & NEW ADVENTURES!
Our beloved teacher, Ellery Klein, who premiered our Music Together Preschool Program at Torit School, is moving to Israel in June! Her husband, Matthew Bell, will be a correspondent in Israel for NPR, and hence, so will Ellery and their two young children, Lincoln & Violet. We are so excited for Ellery as she embarks on this new adventure, but we will miss her dearly and know her students will too! Hopefully, she can come visit us soon!
We are pleased to announce that we have found a wonderful new teacher to join us this Spring: KC IMMLER! KC , as a music therapist, was interested in studying with the Center of Music and Young Children and became certified to teach Music Together. She plays guitar, piano, and sings with a sweet, smooth, voice. Her face just lights up when she makes music with children, and she is thrilled to join our fabulous team of teachers and meet families in the community.
KC will head the Music Together Preschool Program at Torit School as well as teaching Parent/Child classes in Boston & Brookline.

Our classes at Old South Church, in Copley Square, & Torit School, in Downtown Boston have been a hit, and we are thrilled to now offer classes in the Back Bay at ARLINGTON STREET CHURCH. Located at the corner of Arlington & Boylston Street, directly across from the Public Garden, Arlington Street Church is a perfect location for our music classes.

For the past 5 years, we have offered our classes at Magic Beans in Coolidge Corner in the play space to the rear of the store. Unfortunately, after the recent renovation, the play space is simply too small to accommodate all of the moving and grooving we do in our classes. While we were sad to not be able to continue at Magic Beans, we are relieved to have found a new location nearby: YOUNG ISRAEL. Located on Green Street, (which runs directly across from the Coolidge Corner Theater), Young Israel, is stroller accessible, and has lots of free street parking. Our classes are held in the newly renovated Babies room which is clean & bright, and a perfect fit for our classes.

When we first opened GroovyBabyMusic, 9 years ago, were only offered classes in 4 locations, one of which was ST. PAUL'S CHURCH in Brookline Village. When they renovated last year, we had to find an alternative and settled in to classes at nearby Innerspace. It has been such a pleasure to teach at Innerspace, that we decided to stay. However, St. Paul's always remained in our heart and we hoped to offer classes there again someday. I recently visited St. Paul's, and after seeing the beautiful transformation after the renovation, became even more eager to return there. Luckily, now that KC joined us, we can! The Parish Hall is full of light, and with newly painted walls, and sanded floors, is clean and fresh, and has fabulous acoustics! There is plenty of free street parking too.

MORE WEEKEND CLASSES!
Since many parents work during the week, our week-end classes are a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and make music with their child. Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Siblings, and Cousins often come along to join the fun! Our Saturday classes have long been a favorite in Cambridge, and we are thrilled to now be able to even more classes on Saturdays in Boston, and Sundays in Brookline!
